But some items aren’t simply health boosts or materials that enhance your gear. Valuables are items often acquired through quests that hold a specific purpose or are monetarily rewarding when sold.

Description

Ancient Battleground Key

A key of sturdy make and ancient design, that lay buried at the site of a battle once fought.

Arborheart Cutting

A cutting of the Arborheart, an ancient tree of paramount importance to the elven people. Arborist Taliesin entrusted it into your care.

Bandit Bill of Arrest

Brigand who assailed Empress Nadinia—to be apprehended on sight. Description: wears his hair tied back. His right arm was wounded during the attack.

Battahl Residence Permit

A residence permit, received from Ser Menella. Authorizes the bearer to enter Bakbattahl and remain within the city as long as they please.

Battahli-Crested Letter

A letter bearing a crest that looks to be of Battahli origin. Best you delivered it to Captain Brant.

Beastren Border Entry Permit

A permit allowing the bearer to pass through the checkpoint on the Vermund-Battahl border. Acquired by Captain Brant, its use is restricted to beastrens.

Beggar’s Garb

The mantle of a beggar who told epic tales on the city’s streets. Cannot be equipped or worn as a change of dress.

Border Entry Permit

A permit allowing the bearer to pass through the checkpoint on the Vermund-Battahl border. Once held by an agent, it bears the crest of the Battahli palace.

Bribery Investigation Findings

A record of the bribes Allard doled out to attain his current station. Should this information come to light, his loss of standing is all but certain.

Darragh’s Bill of Arrest

A bill of arrest bearing the likeness of a man named Darragh. It reads: “Wanted for crimes against Vermund and her people.”

Diminished Godsway

A peculiar staff known as a godsway. This one was used by the overseer to command enslaved pawns. Though not broken, it has lost much of its former power.

Disa’s Letter

A letter addressed to Sven. Penned in Disa’s hand and overflowing with a mother’s love.

Dulled Godsbane Blade

A sword given to you by Rothais, the Mad Sovran. The blade’s edge is dulled and devoid of luster. Formed of blue shards—fragments of an Arisen’s soul.

Dulled Regalia Sword

A ceremonial regalia sword, long wielded by rulers of Vermund. The blade’s edge is dulled, its luster lost. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Empowered Godsbane Blade

The Godsbane blade, renewed with wyrmslife crystals. A unique form of godsway, it may prove to be indispensable. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Escort Orders

A document commissioning an escort for the noble Ser Augustin. Requests that the escort make for the entrance of the checkpoint rest town.

Exquisite Spectacles

Magistrate Waldhar’s spectacles. An irreplaceable aid in reading finely scrawled text. Crafted for the man himself, no other may wear them.

Finder’s Token

A token of indiscernible purpose. Found in the place where you first obtained a Seeker’s Token.

Folded Letter

An anonymous letter that bears the phrase ““a piece of brass.””

Fruminous Shield

A counterfeit grimoire. Though indistinguishable from the genuine article, it bears no special power and cannot be used to cast magick.

Fulminous Shield

A grimoire filled with arcane power, certain to fascinate any sorcerer. Reading it casts the spell High Thundermine.

Glimmercoal

A special coal employed in forges. Glows faintly in darkness.

Glymercole

A lump of coal found in the depths of an ancient gorge. Unsuitable for use as fuel.

Hiemal Euphony

A grimoire that casts a spell upon being read. Usable even by those incapable of magick. Invokes Ice Boon, which enchants weapons with ice.

Howling Blizzard

A grimoire filled with arcane power, certain to fascinate any sorcerer. Reading it casts the spell High Hagol.

Hurling Blizzard

Imitation Jadeite Orb

An exquisite imitation of a valuable, viridescent jewel.

Jadeite Orb

A gorgeously cut, viridescent jewel. Worth a noble’s ransom.

A jewel prized for its use as a protective charm. Scarcely seen in Battahl.

Labor Requisition Orders

A letter bearing orders to forcibly procure pawn laborers for the Battahli ruins. It also mentions a curious staff capable of commanding the pawn legion.

Large Blue Crystal Shard

A large fragment imbued with a curious blue light. One of precious few to wash up on the Olta’Battahl coastline.

Let There Be Light

A grimoire filled with arcane power, certain to fascinate any sorcerer. Reading it casts the spell Empyrean.

Let There Be Lite

Letter of Request

A letter requesting safe harbor in Battahli territory for the named individual.

Letter to Lord Patrick

A letter entrusted to you by Regentkin Sven. It must needs reach the hands of Lord Patrick, a nobleman of the court.

Letter to Lord Phaesus

A letter penned by Queen Regent Disa that mentions sending “helping hands” in return for the gifted godsway. Found in the Forbidden Magick Research Lab.

Letter to Menella

A letter penned by Empress Nadinia, detailing the circumstances of her revival. Addressed to Ser Menella.

Letter to Ser Lennart

A letter addressed to Ser Lennart, penned by Lady Margit, the watchhead’s wife. Tightly sealed to keep its contents safe from prying eyes.

Lowering Earth

Makeshift Vault Key

A key that opens Vermund’s vault. Of relatively crude make, it will break after a single use.

Merchant’s Document

A document given to a soldier by a Battahli merchant. It encourages the recipient to gather pawns for a reward, without providing a reason.

Message from Brant

A handwritten note from Captain Brant. It reads: “Steal into Allard’s quarters in the palace, and seek out information regarding the package.”

Missive to the Captain

Mock Mended Regalia Sword

A forgery of the regalia sword held as a treasure of Vermund. Inferior to the original as it has not been properly tempered. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Moonglint Key

A key that emits a subtle glow. Unlocks the door to Moonglint Tower.

Murder Report

An old murder report. The names of those involved are disclosed elsewhere. Allard’s involvement is unclear, but it is very likely he had a hand in it.

Myrmecoleon Card

A card given to patrons of the Myrmecoleon, an establishment also known as the rose chateau. Grants the bearer entry to the bordelrie.

A grimoire filled with arcane power, certain to fascinate any sorcerer. Reading it casts the spell Meteoron.

A pair of grimoires brimming with ancient magick. Reading them with both volumes reunited casts the spell Celestial Paean.

A magnificent ornamental staff used in ceremonies and the like. One of the palace’s most valuable and sacred treasures. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Paragon Staff Replica

A counterfeit of Vermund’s ceremonial paragon staff. Though of exquisite make, it lacks some of the original’s luster. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Provisioner’s Note

A note penned by Ser Geoffrey. It contains a list of the additional provisions he requires.

Records of Treatment

Documents detailing the symptoms of a number of patients. Among those marked as discharged, you espy the names Jehan and Bruno.

Restored Regalia Sword

A ceremonial regalia sword, long wielded by rulers of Vermund. The blade is now repaired and has regained its former luster. Cannot be equipped as a weapon.

Scalecinder

A special ash that forms in forges. Called by another name in the language of the elves, it can also be used to nourish the Arborheart.

Scrap of Cloth

A torn scrap of clothing. From the caked blood and stench of beasts, one assumes its wearer met an unfortunate end.

Small Blue Crystal Shard

A small fragment imbued with a curious blue light. One of precious few to wash up on the Olta’Battahl coastline.

A powdered medicine. Naught is written on the wrapper, leaving its properties a mystery. Mayhap a learned doctor could divine its composition.

A grimoire that casts a spell upon being read. Usable even by those incapable of magick. Invokes High Frigor, an ice spell.
