Following weeks of beta testing the newest software update foriOS 13, Apple has finally launched it to the public.

Apple has launched iOS 13.2 to the public, making this the second major update to the mobile operating system since iOS 13 launched in the middle of September. It’s primarily meant to fix any lingering bugs in the system, and will provide some improvements to general usability as well. However, iOS 13.2 is worthwhile in that the software also welcomes one of the most anticipated new features for theiPhone 11,iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max: Deep Fusion.

This is a camera-focused feature meant to improve photos taken in medium-to-low-light scenarios. It’s possible thanks in part to iOS 13, but mostly because of the A13 Bionic processor Apple equipped in its newest iPhones. Thanks to machine learning the feature will work in the background, working to get the best possible picture from a variety of shots and exposures.

New features and functionality

Deep Fusion is specific to iPhone 11 models along withthe abilityto change video resolution and frame rate controls while recording a video with the stock Camera app. There are other new features for everyone, however.iOS 13.2 introducesover 70 new emojis into the software, including a range of Accessibility options, new animals like a sloth, flamingo, and others. iOS 13.2also tweaksthe process for deleting and rearranging apps on the Home screen.

iOS 13.2 also introduces the abilityto deleteSiriand Dictation history. The new software also welcomes Announce Messages With Siri, which allows the digital assistant to read incoming messages aloud without having to unlock the device.

And finally, iOS 13.2 has alsohinted atthe incoming arrival of new noise-cancelling (and water-resistant) “AirPods Pro” truly wireless headphones. (Which isnow official!) iOS 13.2 officially adds AirPods Pro support to the mobile operating system.

Here’s a video showing off the new features:

As is par for the course, iOS 13.2 is a free upgrade. It’s available to download and install now.

Apple also released the corresponding iPadOS 13.2 update. It’s also free and available to install now.
