Ghost of Tsushima ishighly optimizedout of the box, so it runs well on medium-end PCs at 1080p, but there are issues when you are gaming on a lower-end PC or want to run it at a higher resolution. In those cases, you need to go to the Graphics Settings from the main menu and set them to the following to achiever higher framerates.

Before applying the settings, I got around60 to 70 FPS on Ultra Presentwith RTX 3060, I5-11400f, and PNY XLR8 3600mhz clocked at 2133mhz. After applying the above settings, I got a massive boost to around140 to 150 average FPS, as seen in the before and after images.
