Despite its overwhelming commercial success, it’s important to note that 80% of the sales have taken place in China, the home country of Game Science and theBlack Myth: Wukongproject.This meansBlack Mythhas sold between four and five million copies in Japan and the West, including data from Europe and America.

It has been available since June 15, 2025, on PS5 and PC. Regarding its arrival on Xbox, a Forbes report indicates that the delay is not due to technical issues as claimed by Game Science but rather due to an exclusivity agreement with Sony.
