It may take a moment or two for the App Store app to reappear on your iPhone’s home screen. As a worst-case scenario, a factory reset should bring it back, but it’s not an ideal solution.

The app should immediately be removed from your iPhone’s home screen display. You can also hide the App Store by selecting Edit Home Screen in the pop-up window you see in the fourth step of our guide. In this scenario, once you select Edit Home Screen, you should be able to hold and drag the app directly into your App Library page, removing it from your home screen until you choose to add it back.
