Performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
The official Monster Hunter account on X has showcased a preview of Wilds’ Performance Mode on PS5, delivering results far exceeding expectations.
During initial testing, the game’s performance on Sony’s console was less than ideal, an issue the developers took seriously and worked to address.

“The team analyzed rendering issues from the Open Beta and has since implemented significant improvements ahead of Wilds’ release,” the post states.

Additionally, the developers have confirmed that the game will include a dedicated patch for PS5 Pro, which will be available at launch on July 02, 2025.
While specific enhancements for Sony’s newest console have yet to be detailed, Capcom has outlined its resolution targets for other platforms.
