We’ve broken down each Stat by Level so you can see just what you get for your hard earned Souls. In addition, we’ve taken the liberty of adding how many Souls you need to level up at each level!
Souls Needed To Level Up At Each Level
Below is a list of the number of Souls needed to level up at each level in the game. Players feed Souls to Vulgrim to Level Up, or if they are lucky they can findLuminous Visages. These consumable items will provide 1 Attribute Point once crushed, and you can find them using ourLuminous Visage Locations Guide.
Stats Diminishing Returns
Players feed souls to Vulgrim to level up. Level up by feeding Souls early on, and save those Luminous Visages for late game when the cost is more expensive. There isnorespec option, so be sure you want that level in that stat. All stats suffer from diminishing rates of return after certain thresholds, which you may see below.
Level 1-10: +20
Level 11-20: +15
Level 21-30: +10
Level 31-50: +5
Level 51-60: +4
Level 61-70: +3
Level 71-80: +2
Level 81-100: +1
Level 1-10: +5%
Level 11-20: +4%
Level 21-30: +3%
Level 31-50: +2%
Level 51-100: +1 %
Level 1-10: +7%
Level 11-20: +6%
Level 21-30: +5%
Level 31-39: +4%
Level 40-50: +3%
Level 51-100: +1%
You can see from the diminishing returns that each Stat starts to get progressively worse after Level 10. Health seems to have the steepest drop off, but Strength is not far behind. No matter how you Build your character, you probably want at least 10 points into each Stat to get the most bang for your buck.

Below you can see the exact number of Health, Strength % and Arcane % you get at each level, so that you can determine where you’d like to get to. For convenience we’ve marked the amount of Levels needed to gain half the max total in each Stat.
