Those picking up the Dead Space remake this month will gain Dead Space 2 as a free bonus on Steam.
If you’ve been thinking about picking up the Dead Space remake, EA have thrown in another reason to get the game. For those who pre-order the game on PC, they will be gaining Dead Space 2 as a free bonus.
Dead Space 2 takes place a few years after the events of the first game, so you’re able to continue your space horror journey. So far this deal seems to be only on the Steam platform, not for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players. So if you want to take advantage of this offer be sure to pick up the Dead Space Remake before January 26th at 11:59 PM PT/January 27th 02:59 AM ET and you get a free copy of Dead Space 2.
Back in December EA Motive had announced Dead Space had gone gold, meaning it was all ready to ship. The game looks to be enhancing the original Dead Space experience, now even creepier and gorier with modern graphics for crisp detail. Previously the developer previewed somegameplayshowing off the updated in game systems such as more atmospheric sounds and small fear-inducing details like Isaac’s breathing. The game is all done in “one sequential shot” meaning very minimal loading screens and meaning maximum terror.
In case you missed it, Dead Space follows an engineer who is sent aboard the Ishimura, Isaac Clarke flies with a small crew to fix the ship after receiving a distress signal. Once reaching the starship however things don’t quite go to plan, because the ship is now infested with a slew of zombie humans.
Dead Spacewill release on January 27th 2023 coming to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
