Throughout your lengthy adventures inTainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, you will constantly be looking for specific items to either enhance or improve the overall experience. One of them happens to be Ethereal Cobwebs, which are important items that you can use at a campfire to open up various options, from being able to perform alchemy to teleporting on the spot. Regardless, there is one individual in the world that requests some cobwebs from you, but they aren’t your run-of-the-mill cobwebs.

Travel to a dream dimension to solve the puzzle of why everyone in the village have become mindless drones in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
Pre-requisite: Completion of Dead of Dreams side mission.
Accepting the Quest
After coming across the Horns village in the west in the early stages of the game, you will come across various unique NPCs that will give you numerous missions. Whether it’s transporting yourself to a mystical dream world or finding materials to craft a simple pie, there’s a ton to see and do around the land.
For the Gathering Ethereal Cobwebs, you will need to go outside the village to accept the quest. Head immediately north along the road (not going up the coastline). You will eventually come across a crossroad where there is one bandit patrolling, but a small hut where a tracker is skinning a deer. You will meet Margh, who will give you the first lengthy side quest of Dead of Dreams.
After completing Dead of Dreams, go back to Margh, and he will have a new task for you: gather Ethereal Cobwebs. This is something you will be doing quite often throughout your ventures in Avalon. But, Margh has a very specific which Ethereal Cobwebs he wants.
Finding the Ethereal Cobwebs
Margh will tell you to go to the north in order to find the Ethereal Cobwebs he’s looking for. You will need to go specifically to the Archspire. It’s very easy to actually miss where you need to go to find the Ethereal Cobwebs. If you go inside the Archspire itself, you will see the webbing that you need to pick from, but are unable to climb up.
Actually, we were able to climb up from there, but it requires a lot of angling, jumping and crouching. So it was an egg on our face that there’s a much simpler way of getting up there. Instead, head to the southern entrance of the Archspire and go towards the teleport crystal. When you hit the teleport, do a 180-degree turn, and you should notice a rocky ramp upward.
Walk up the ramp, and you’ll eventually come across a locked box that is fairly easy to pick provided you have the lock picks. Keep going past this until you reach almost the back of the Archspire and immediately turn right. Unfortunately, you’ll come face to face with a ghostly phantom, or rather, as the game names it, a Deadly Guard. It has a sword, but he does a lot of damage if you go here early in the story. If you’re fast enough, you can maneuver around him and grab the cobwebs and split, but if you have the capabilities, kill the guard for 270 XP.
You’ll also find the young traveler Margh mentioned slain. You can rob his body as he does have a couple of interesting trinkets. Regardless, return to Margh and hand over the Ethereal Cobwebs and receive your rewards.
