In Call of Duty MWZ, you’ll find familiar elements like the Mystery Box, which offers unique loot in exchange for Essence. Certain missions require eliminating zombies with weapons acquired from these boxes, so you need to know how to locate a Mystery Box in MWZ.
How to locate Mystery Boxes in MW3 Zombies
Mystery Boxes provide players with exceptional loot, and they are located all around the map in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. To identify a Mystery Box, open your tac-map and check for thequestion mark iconon top a box (image reference shown above). After finding a Mystery Box on the map, ping the location and visit the area. Otherplayers in MWZwill also visit Mystery Box locations, so you can always have a chat with them to team up against stronger enemies.
Remember, you’ll need around950 Essenceto purchase weapons from theMystery Box. I recommend completing different contracts around the map to quickly gain essence. Contracts like Raid Weapon Stash, High-Value Target, and Bounty are some of the best ones to complete to gain Essence in every match. The weapons you acquire from Mystery Boxes will be randomized, so having a ton of Essence helps buy more guns from this loot cache.

The locations where I found these Mystery Boxes areZaravan Suburbs,Hadiqa Farms,Shahin Manor, andLow Town. Here are some of the Mystery Box spawns I spotted while playing Modern Warfare 3 Zombies:
While the loot is not guaranteed to be legendary, there is a chance to acquire iconic weapons like the Ray Gun from the Mystery Box. So far, I’ve only found uncommon and rare variant weapons with a few attachments. Various story missions like Take Up Arms involve acquiring weapons from Mystery Box and eliminating a certain number of zombies around the map; complete these missions to quickly progress through the different acts in the MWZ storyline.
