Hades 2 makes gathering resources like Limestone a lot easier than its predecessor, but requires unlocking some tools beforehand and knowing where the resource is located. Here is how to get Limestone in Hades 2.
How to Find Limestone in Hades 2
Hades 2 players can get Limestone bymining the rocky mineral in the game’s second area, Oceanus. Players will be able to access the area after defeating theErebus boss, Hecate, though they will have to beat the first area in each run again in order to get back to Oceanus.
Mining Limestone willrequire the Crescent Pick tool, which can be earned towards the beginning of the game for one Ash. It is important to note that Melinoë can only equip one tool at a time per run, so ensure it is equipped at the Silver Pools before starting the next run.

Limestone looks like a tall stack of greyish slabs, and will often be in the corners of rooms. There are no guaranteed spots where Limestone will spawn, but ithas a chance to appear in any of the rooms within Oceanus. It is randomized each time, but the starting room before entering Oceanus proper has a seemingly good chance to appear more than the battle rooms.
Simply interact with the Limestone while the Crescent Pick is equipped to get the resource. You can do multiple times to getthree Limestoneper mineral deposit. Be sure to buy the Reagent Sensing Incantation as soon as possible, which will point out any resources in the room after clearing it of enemies.

Limestone is important to purchase some Incantations, such as theGathering of Ancient Bones. This incantation allows players to earn Bones after completing encounters with a specific weapon.
