Chloe Grace Moretz’sCarriewas so iconic that everyone remembers the actress starring in the movie. She did a splendid job in the role and it brought her a lot of praise for it. However, the actress admitted that it was one of her most difficult roles to portray. She admitted that although Stephen King’s novel was an amazing hit, the role got to her in an almost negative manner.
The role was straining and much different from all the dark characters she had played in the past.Carriewas a unique story with an overprotective religious mother and a daughter that possessed powers that were made to be suppressed for as long as possible.

Chloe Grace Moretz Was Shook While Playing Carrie White
Chloe Grace Moretzis famous for her dark and horror-themed roles with Carrie White being the most iconic of them. She confirmed that the role had been too haunting for her. While Moretz is not a method actor per se, Carrie had become too close for her own liking.
“Whereas with this role, I wanted to try something where I really felt this person all day long, and be in that character from start of the day until end of the day, and change my body and my feelings and my hair and everything to the point where, when I looked in the mirror, all I saw was Carrie. It was very interesting.”
She pointed out how the movie was disturbing for the audience itself so it would only be time till it affects her as well. She admitted that the movie and the entire process of her filming made her feel extremely alone. Moretz even would cry by the end of the day sitting alone in her trailer because of how draining the role could be for her.

Chloe Grace Moretz Felt Like Carrie White
Chloe Grace Moretz confirmed that it was getting difficult day by day for her to play Carrie White. She hated having kids laugh at her and almost felt as if she was not just in the shoes of her character but actually became her at that moment.
“And then I grew up and I’ve chosen characters where I’ve proven myself, and I’ve looked at those same people and said, ‘Well, look. You told me I’d never be that actor, and now I’m succeeding at it.’ I’m actually reaching farther and beyond anything I’ve done before.”
While Carrie had a very questionable childhood, Moretz is completely different from her titular character. She stood up on her own feet and became a successful actress despite many people telling her otherwise.
