When it comes to sports anime, one name has always managed to fascinate the fans:Haikyuu.The series based on the Karasuno volleyball team is one of the most beloved sports series ever. The franchise will be getting a new movie titledThe Battle at the Garbage Dump.

When the movie was announced, Yuki Kenji, who plays the V.A. for Kenma in the franchise, announced through his Twitter account that he was very excited about the movie and had already started preparing for it.

Yuki Kaji shares a message for the fans of the upcomingHaikyuumovie
The announcement of the newHaikyuumovie excited the fandom since there was no news about what was next after season 4. Fans were speculating about a new season, but to everyone’s surprise, the remaining chapters will be adapted into a movie.
The movie is titledHaikyuu: The Battle at the Garbage Dump,and we can witness the nerve-racking match between Karasuno and Nekoma. Two rivals have never seen eye to eye and Nekoma has always been seen as the biggest enemy of Karasuno.

No matter the outcome, fans are in for a blast, and even the voice actor for the movie is excited as well. Yuki Kaji, a famous voice actor who has voiced characters such as Eren fromAttack on Titanand Nishikata fromDon’t Tease Me Takagaki San, will also be a part of the upcoming movie.

Haikyuu, being a major fan-favorite series, has got fans craving any information about release dates and when they can see their beloved characters back on their screens.
The movie’s global release date has yet to be announced, and it is uncertain when the rest of the world will be able to see it.
TheHaikyuumovie will be released in Japan on August 09, 2025, and it might take a few months to see for viewers not in Japan.
