English voice actors seem to be working already onSquare Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 4, according to a social media post by Zach Pokres. This has caught the attention of the Kingdom Hearts community, craving news after screenshots dropped for the upcoming game earlier this month. Fans are hoping for a new trailer sometime this year, perhaps during Summer Game Fest.
Voice Acting May Have Started for KH4
Typically, during the latter parts of the development cycle, English voice acting is added to a Japanese-developed game after localization efforts are made. Pokres mentioned on X that they’re working on Square Enix and Disney’s Kingdom Hearts 4 with a picture. “Like anyone, I started off small,” said Pokres. “Doing grunt VA work and casting calls, and I spent years before and after ‘fame’ to make a name for myself as not only a VA, but a person just putting themselves out there every step of the way.” He continued, “This discourse just shows everyone has their own journey and if you put the work in, the fruits of your labor will be returned.”
The fruits of that labor seems to have led to a role in Kingdom Hearts 4. Pokres says that his work on the project began last year. They say they have permission to disclose that they’re working on KH4 without revealing any details on it.
