Lost Arkwasrecently releasedin the West with 15 Advanced Classes. However, the Korean version is still ahead and has 8 classes that have yet to be unveiled to Western audiences.

Lost Ark Classes That Can Be Added to the Western Release

Lost Ark is definitely one of 2022’s major hits. The game was able to obtain1.3 million concurrent playerson Steam in its opening weekend. This monumental achievement secured it as Steam’s #2 most played game on the platform.

However, now is the time to get excited about new content! The official Lost Ark Twitter account recently teased somenew dungeon and story content. But let’s also take a look at the potential classes that they can add to the Western release. Most of these have already been played by the Korean audience. Let’s jump right in!

Guardian Raid

The Destroyer is the only warrior class missing from the Western release. This massive fighter is somewhat similar to theBerserkerin the sense that he is about pure damage. However, where the Berserker is more agile, the Destroyer instead is much slower.

Destroyers wield gigantic hammers which they can use to slam into the ground (or into their foes). This causes massive, but slow damage. All of the huge hits cause the very earth itself to rumble, creating seismic shockwaves.

The Destroyer

If you want to bash enemies on the head with a large hammer just like in Monster Hunter or prefer a slower warrior type character then the Destroyer is the class for you.

One of the most anticipated classes would be the Lancer. This class is another advanced class of theMartial Artist. Instead of striking enemies with her fists, the Lancer makes use of, well, a lance or spear type weapon.

The Lancer

Lancers have access to a plethora of cleaving attacks as well as strikes that send out waves of force. They are very agile as well, much like other Martial Artists like theScrapperandWardancer. What’s unique about the Lancer is its class identity. Much like theDeadeye, Lancers can swap between weapons in combat and have access to an entirely separate skill bar. They will be able to use Blue skills and use a mighty glaive in one stance; Red Skills and a spear in the other.

Players that enjoy acrobatics while zipping around the battlefield will definitely enjoy the lancer.

The Scouter

It looks like one of the more advanced classes is the Scouter. He is advanced not just in his sci-fi theme, but also the potential playstyle. The Scouter is one of theGunner’sadvanced classes. Scouters are equipped with machine guns and take command of an offensive drone pet.

The Scouter is unique as he can issue commands to the drone independently of the Scouter’s own actions. He has skills that focus on his own prowess with the gun, have the drone unleash a rain of bullets or synergy skills that involve the two of them.

The Summoner

Lastly, the most unique thing about the Scouter is his class identity skill. Once his identity gauge is full, The Scouter can then merge with his drone, turning his HUD into something akin to Iron Man, and then becoming a mini Gundam. He can then use various destructive weaponry against his enemies.

Players who like raining bullets, love Artethine or enjoy having a pet to command will enjoy playing as a Scouter.

TheSummonerwas actually already in the Western Closed Beta of Lost Ark. It was substituted for theSorceressinstead. This advanced Mage class was one of two available during the limited test (the other class being the Bard). Summoners make use of elementals and other magical creatures to aid them in battle.

These magic users can concentrate their energy into slamming their foes with anAncient Spear. They also have access toWater Elementalsor the fieryPauru. Lastly, their class skill allows them to borrow the strength of might elementals to wreak havoc on their foes.

TheArcanist(or Arcana in some translations) is a very unique magic-user. Instead of the other classes that rely on burst and explosive damage, the arcana is much quicker. Arcanists are nimble and very adept at slinging sustained damage. These mages’ abilities are all based on playing cards.

Their weapon is similar to that in Yu-Gi-Oh and contains a deck of cards. Players will then draw cards at random from the deck and will imbue them with various magical effects. These can be buffs or modify the Arcanist’s skills in some other ways.

If you’re interested in an alternative way of casting magic or just really want to be like Gambit from X-Men, the Arcanist is for you!

Reapers are more like usual Rogues in other RPGs than the Assassin’s other subclasses. These stealthy characters use a single dagger instead of various swords and other blades. They are extremely quick and have access to stealth and invisibility skills.

The Reaper is adept at using dagger and shadow themed skills. They are able to cut through their enemies. The more they damage their foes, the faster they can gain large buffs from their class identity skill. Reapers can also turn invisible and leave a shadow clone in the location they disappeared from. This clone will then continuously attack enemies while the Reaper gains buffs to their next attacks.

If you’d prefer anAssassinthat uses Stealth more than direct combat like theShadowhunteror theDeathblade, then the Reaper is the class for you.

Artists are the first advanced class of the Specialist, a class that is totally missing from the Western release. In lieu of more traditional weapons, the Artist wields an oversized paintbrush. She then uses this brush to splatter her foes (and the battlefield) with black ink. Drenching foes in this ink helps her gain abilities that can either buff or heal her allies.

The Artist is one of the more visually striking classes. The ink splashes are gorgeous to look at. In fact, her awakening skill paints a lovely landscape onto the battlefield, which the Artist then causes to explode all around her.

If you’re up for a Support class that isn’t a Bard orPaladin, then the Artist is for you!

Aeromancer

Last, but not least is the Aeromancer who is the second advanced class of the Specialist. There isn’t too much information on the Aeromancer just now as she was only recently announced for a Korean release. However, we do know that she will be a damage dealer who uses an umbrella as her weapon.

With her trusty umbrella, she is able to manipulate the weather and use wind-based magic against her enemies.

That’s definitely a lot to be excited about! Incoming this March including the introduction of Abyssal Raids, as well as a new story chapter that focuses onKadan, the firstGuardianSlayer.
