To unlock this suit, you’ll need to eliminate all Symbiote Nests. This side activity unlocks towards the end of the game following the introduction of Venom. Denoted by a red swirl, the activity stands out both on the world map and looking out into the world. You’ll be able to see the stalks and tendrils in the distance when peering out over the skyline.

What happens at a Symbiote Nest

The main objective at each Symbiote Nest is to remove the corruption by killing the heart. To do this, Peter or Miles will place a sonic bomb on the heart and have to defend it for a short amount of time against an ever-increasing onslaught of Symbiotes.

Though most of the Symbiote Nests feature only one heart, there are a handful that require you to destroy two. In these cases, you’ll need to protect both at the same.

Where are all the Symbiote Nests

There are a total of 10 Symbiote Nests strewn throughout the city. You can tackle them in any order you please. You’ll find them in the following districts:

Who should you play as

Unlike the other side activities where only one of the characters gets a suit, the Symbiote Nests can be tackled as either Peter Parker or Miles Morales. Ultimately, who you want to play as is your choice. As both characters utilize the same four gadgets, it’ll depend on who you believe has the better abilities to handle the situation.

In Peter’s case, his Symbiote abilities provide for great ranged and rushing options. Meanwhile, Miles’ Venom electricity can draw enemies in and deal area-of-effect damage. Both are great options, though we recommend picking Miles when dealing with two hearts. His ability to draw in enemies from afar and hit multiple enemies at once make him invaluable.

Unlocking the King in Black Suit

The King in Black suit automatically unlocks after the tenth Symbiote Nest is eradicated. Unlike some of the other side activities, there’s no final mission or final Symbiote Nest you need to clear to get the suit.
