Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruinreleased last year on Switch and PC, Capcom have now reported the turn-based RPG monster battler has now surpassed 1.5 million in copies shipped.
In case you missed it Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a spin-off title to the Monster Hunter series, concentrating on turn-based battles, retrieving monster eggs and even creating your own monster hybrids using their DNA. The title is a sequel to the first title but can be played without having played the prequel.

If you like a cute cartoon aesthetic, monster riding, story, collecting Monsties to battle and a rock, paper scissors battle based system you’ll have fun checking out MHS2. Those who are looking for a Pokemon-esque experience but in a Monster Hunter world will find this title scratching that itch.
