While details regarding the upcoming Noah and Mio amiibos are scant, Nintendo has been far more forthcoming with information on the impending Pyra and Mythra amiibos. As outlined in the press release, both the Pyra and Mythra amiibos will be compatible with Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Scanning either Pyra or Mythra into the game will unlock one of two corresponding Aegis Sword skins for Noah’s Swordfighter class.
These Aegis Sword skins will be available exclusively through the Pyra and Mythra amiibos upon their July 21 release. However, Nintendo plans to eventually issue an update for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which will make both skins accessible to all players as rewards for meeting a certain (though currently undisclosed) requirement.
Meanwhile, in the same press release, Nintendo has put forth an overview of everything that fans can expect from the fourth and final installment of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass DLC, which releases next week on April 25. TitledXenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, the upcoming installment will take place prior to the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and is set to star Xenoblade Chronicles characters both established and new.
