Oblivion Remastered First Patch
Available since last April and already one of the year’s biggest hits,The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered—the remaster of Bethesda’s legendary 2006 RPG—has just received its first update.
Version 1.1 mainly focuses on improving the overall stability of the game and fixing several issues that were negatively affecting the experience.
Key Changes in Version 1.1
Among the most important changes, the patch fixes crashes that occurred when loading quicksaves and when crafting multiple potions using stolen ingredients. It also resolves issues related to heavy CPU usage, including crashes caused by using the Alt+Tab combination.
However, the changelog notes that there are no direct improvements to CPU performance.
In terms of gameplay, the update fixes animation issues while horseback riding, as well as a bug that caused the first-person camera to float above the character’s head.
Additionally, a problem that misaligned map markers when playing on a secondary monitor has been addressed, along with another issue that caused infinite loading screens.

Open your Steam Library and navigate to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
Right click on “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered” and select “Properties”
In the new properties pop-up window, select “Betas”
In the beta drop down to opt into, select “[beta]”
Wait for app to download new build and launch
