Today, Xiaomi has finally announced the MIUI 12 global launch date. According to an official tweet, MIUI 12 will launch globally on May 19th.
Xiaomi will be hosting an online launch event that will begin at 8 PM IST.

Xiaomi launched the next generation MIUI 12 update last month in China. The update comes withseveral featuressuch as new animations and UI changes, a sleep tracker, animated 3D live wallpaper akaSuper Wallpaper, new privacy features, and a lot more.
Similar to MIUI 12 Chinese variant, the global version is also expected toroll out in three phases. It goes without saying that the latest Xiaomi phones will be the first ones to receive the update. Early adopters of the latest MIUI update will likely be POCO X2, Mi 10 and Redmi Note 9, etc.
However, the final MIUI 12 device list will only be unveiled after the MIUI 12 global launch. Since Xiaomi India devices also run the MIUI Global ROM, it goes without saying the announcement will be important for MIUI 12 India fans.
