Path of Exile’sSettlers of Kalguur league has shattered concurrent player records and has the best player retention among any leagues so far. It is one of the best leagues ever, but even with all the great new features, there are still some hindrances, especially when it comes to Recombinators, Power Rune rarity, and the T17 endgame fiasco. Luckily, most of these problems will be addressed in the Path of Exile 3.25.1 patch, and here are the details.
Path of Exile 3.25.1 Patch Details – Settlers of Kalguur League
Kingsmarch Changes
It is confusing to see how the Thaumaturgic Dust changes will be a positive or a “buff” if the changes make it additive instead of multiplicative. However, we can trust them on this one. Based on the wording, it seems like Thaumaturgic Dust has been indirectly giving you rewards and now the dusts are directly tied to the number of rewards. Since most players would havemillions of Thaumaturgic Dust, maybe this is what they meant when they said it was buffed.
Recombination got a buff, but it is still inferior to most crafting systems, so it isn’t quite useful yet. The fact that the portal is farther away is definitely helpful. Nobody wants to lose their whole crew because of a misclick.

T17 Modifier Changes
Adjusted the following Tier 17 Map Modifiers:
All these mods are amazing nerfs to some of the T17’s most dangerous mods. Some of the rolls will still be rolled out by builds who can’t run them like reduction to Action Speed. Evasion-based build doesn’t really have a problem with rare and unique monsters removing 10% of life, mana, and ES on hit.
With the nerfs bringing it down to 5%, it still doesn’t affect evasion-based builds as much, but other defenses like ES-based or armor-based builds will still roll them out because it is still dangerous. In short, most of these nerfs are heavily dependent on builds, so in most cases, they’ll still attempt to avoid rolling these mods even with the nerfs.

The following mods no longer roll on Tier 17 Maps:
Removing these mods would mean that the more dangerous mods (the first section of the changes) would show up more. While most of these are “hard” mods, some are free mods for most builds.
More changes:
Most of these bug fixes are self-explanatory. However, some are eye-opening, such as the bug on flasks, T17 meteors, and more. Most players wouldn’t even know they were bugged.
