When you use incense during this event, you will attract more of the announced Pokémon with that incense. In this case, that means when you use an incense and walk around, that you will be spawning a lot of Ferroseed onto the map. This Incense Day approaching now is the first one of 2024.
Incense Days are a great way to pick up a lot of the announced Pokémon, and maybe even net yourself a few more shinies! Let’s get into it.

About Ferroseed:
Ferroseed is a Grass and Steel-type Pokémon. It evolves into Ferrothorn with50 Ferroseed Candy. It resembles a spiky seed of some sort, as the name would suggest. Here is what Ferroseed and Ferrothorn look like in both shiny and regular forms:
Ferroseed and its evolved form are both weak toFire and Fighting-typemovesets, and are resistant to the following types of moves:
The best moves for Ferroseed and Ferrothorn areMetal Claw and Power Whip. It is not a particularly strong Pokémon, but decent enough to have as filler if you need an extra Pokémon of its typing on your team.
Keep in mind that Ferroseed will not be the only Pokémon to be drawn to incense at this time.
The Pokémon attracted to your Incense throughout the event will change every hour, between a set list of Grass and Steel-type Pokémon.

We are unsure at this time what kind of research that we can expect for this day, but following in the vein of previous Incense Days, you’re able to probably expect some Pokémon catching challenges. To take a guess, you will probably have to catch or encounter a number of both Grass and Steel-typed Pokémon on this day, which will be simple if you are outside walking around with your Incenses on!
