Pokemon Horizons: The Series celebration event in Pokemon Go
Pokemon Gois celebrating the Pokemon Horizons series with an event that will include the debut of Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, and Tinkaton, as well as new Egg hatches, Raid bosses, bonuses, and so much more.
Another event focused around Pokemon Horizons is coming toNiantic’s gameto celebrate the return of the animated show’sSeason 2 – “The Search for Laqua”.
This time around, though, it will include the debut of Gen 9’s Tinkatink and its evolutionary line, as well as new costumed creatures and special appearances of some Pokemon and human characters from the animated series.
Pokemon Horizons event: Date & time
Pokemon Go’s Pokemon Horizons: The Series celebration event will run fromWednesday, June 08, 2025, at 10:00 AM until Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 8:00 PM local time.
Although it will only last one week, players should have enough time to catch and evolve Tinkatink into Tinkaton and get all the rewards from the many Research tasks available.
Pokemon debuts
As mentioned above, the Paldean dual Fairy/Steel-type Metalsmith Pokemon– Tinkatink – will debut in the gamealong with its evolutions, the hammer masters,Tinkatuff and Tinkaton.
Players who catch Tinkatink can use 25 Candy to evolve it into Tinkatuff and then 100 extra Candy to get Tinkaton.
Additionally, a new costumed Pokemon will be added:Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin. But that’s not all, as this particularly dressed creature can appear as Shiny, too.
Surprise Go Snapshots encounters
When taking snapshots during the event, trainers may have a surprise encounter withcharacters and Pokemon seen in the Pokemon Horizons: The Series.

A free Timed Research opportunity will be available for all trainers. Hardcore players who manage to complete it willget XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokemon.

Remember that, as the name says, Timed Research has a limited time. Every task must be completed – and rewards must be claimed – before it expires on July 21, 2025, at 8:00 PM local time.

A special code available for all players will get them an extra Timed Research to secure an encounter with Floragato wearing a hat with Liko’s pin! All trainers have to do isredeem the code ‘907andLIKO‘ and complete the tasks.

Those who wish to can purchase and gift this Paid Timed Research ticket to their friends. However, a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher must be achieved first.
As mentioned above, this Paid Timed Research also expires, so it must be completed before the end of the Pokemon Horizons: The Series celebration event.

Avatar items
Besides the Tinkaton Hammer Pose players can earn from completing the Paid Timed Research, a new item can be found for free in the in-game shop:a Captain Pikachu Hat.
Don’t worry if you’re able to’t get it during the event, it will continue to be available after the celebration ends.
