Unfortunately, the PlayStation Blog has announced that thePS5Digital Edition will cost more money in Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, as of Monday. In Europe, for example, the price has been increased to €499.99 from €449.99. Video game fans and customers may have to prepare themselves for a more costly hobby.

The PS5 Digital Edition, the system without a disc drive will be getting more expensive in Europe, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The new prices as of April 14 are as follows:

If you’re from Europe or the United Kingdom and want a PS5 with a disc drive already attached, the price remains unchanged. However, if you live in Australia or New Zealand, the price of the disc drive consoles are also increasing. They are now $829.95 in Australia and $949.95 in New Zealand respectively. Thankfully, the price of the PS5 Pro consoles hasn’t been altered.

UK shoppers may want to flock to stores like Argos before the price increases. As of the time of writing, the Digital Edition at Argos is still £389.99 and is marked as “Special Offer.” You can also get the Astro Bot and Digital Edition bundle for £339.99, which seems to be a steal in today’s economy as Astro Bot is usually a fully priced game at this point in time.

The PS5 Pro, as of the time of writing, remains at its astonishing £699.99 price point on Argos.
