Academy Award nomineeRyan Goslingalreadyhas his sights set inThe Fall Guy 2following the release of the first outing earlier this month. Speaking toFast Companyrecently, Goslingaddressed the ending ofThe Fall Guyand whether a sequel is on the cards, with the actor revealing that they have already planned out what happens to his seasoned stuntman Colt Seavers and Emily Blunt’s director Jody Moreno after the credits roll.

“Oh yeah. We already – I mean, we love these characters so much that we wanted to know, just for ourselves, what happens to Colt and [Emily Blunt’s character] Jody after the movie ends? What’s the next phase for them? And we know exactly what it is. So hopefully the audience wants to know, too.”

Not only have they planned out what comes next, it sounds likeThe Fall Guy 2has already been written, with Gosling adding that they know the story for the sequel “intimately.” Of course, as dictated by the merciless Hollywood system,The Fall Guy 2happening alldepends on the box office…

“The sequel sort of wrote itself. We already know [the story] intimately. We’re just hoping that people like this movie enough that we get to keep telling the story of these characters. We love them so much, and we love this world, and I feel confident that we can do it.”

Emily Blunt Confesses Kissing Some of Hollywood’s Leading Men has Made Her Feel Sick

Emily Blunt shared a candid reaction when asked if she had ever wanted to throw-up after kissing one of her leading men by Howard Stern.

Unfortunately, on that front,The Fall Guy 2faces an uphill battle that perhaps only Colt Seavers can accomplish. Despite solid reviews,The Fall Guyhas sadly grossed just $66 million worldwide against a production budget of around $130 million, falling below expectations. Meaning thatThe Fall Guy,much likeThe Nice Guysbefore it, could be another Ryan Gosling-led franchise-starter that never took off.
