He goes ahead to call haters“incels”who have nothing better to do than hate strong women.

Brie Larsonhas been on the receiving end of hate and criticism for a long time now and for more reasons than one. However, no matter what people have to say about the actress or her superhero persona, her long-time friend sees no reason why he shouldn’t stand up for her.

In an interview with Rolling Stone,Samuel L. Jacksonput Larson’s haters on blast for hating on a strong woman who has the courage to voice her opinions. He added that despite what others say, Larson is not going to let the words get to her.
“Brie’s a stronger person than people give her credit for. She’s not going to let any of that stuff destroy her. These incel dudes who hate strong women, or the fact that she’s a feminist who has an opinion and expressed it? Everybody wants people to be who they want them to be. She is who she is, and she’s genuinely that.”

Jackson and Larson first became friends on the set ofKong: Skull Island.Ever since then, the two have remained on great terms with each, which can clearly be seen in the way Jackson talks about Larson.

Jackson recalled how the two bonded over the presidential election whenDonald Trumpwas elected as the President of the United States. Larson was not happy with the outcome and found support in her friend/co-star.
“Then, we bonded through the election while we were doing her movie when Donald Trump won. She was broken and I was like, ‘Don’t let ’em break you. You have to be strong now.’”
A while later, Larson received good news that Marvel wanted her to be the face of Captain Marvel. Jackson stated that theFast Xactress called him up for advice on whether she should take the role or not.
“Then, when she got Captain Marvel, she called me and was like, ‘They want me in the Marvel Universe. Should I do it?’ And I was like, ‘Hell yeah! Let’s do it!’”
This friendship will soon hit the theatres as Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau meet Jackson’s Nick Fury. Judging by the trailer, it looks like the film is going to beMarvelous!
