The film seeks to replicate this by introducing a narrative mechanism where characters revive after each death, facing new scenarios and challenges. “Every time they come back to life, they find themselves in a new horror genre,” Sandberg explains, promising variety and unexpected twists.

The official synopsis reveals a story beginning a year after the disappearance of Melanie, the sister of Clover. Seeking answers, Clover and her friends travel to the remote valley where the incident occurred, only to discover they are trapped in an endless night of terror.

A Loop of Death

Each death resets them to the start of the same night, but with increasingly terrifying threats. The only way to escape is to survive until dawn—a concept reflecting the game’s title and ensuring audiences are kept on the edge of their seats.

Peter Stormare, known for his roles inFargo and Constantine, expressed excitement about being part of this adaptation.
