The details surrounding Summer Game Fest 2023 are still rather thin, but there will be lots of announcements and updates going by previous years. This is also not great timing for E3, as there have been recent announcements that big players such asNintendo, Microsoft and Sony have decided to skip the event. Recently there have been reports that another major publisher is also forgoing E3, Ubisoft. This was reported by VGC, who shared the update.
Last year Summer Game Fest gave us trailers forZenless Zone Zero,Midnight Sunsas well asOne Piece Odyssey. The showcase has also given us big news in the pass such as theElden Ring release date plus gameplay. Teasing that this will be the “biggest” one yet sets high hopes for some major announcements. Maybe we’ll finally get a release date for the long-awaitedHollow Knight: Silksong? Although this might come up in Microsoft’s own showcase. Either way, we’ll be covering all the news as it unfolds and in the run-up to June.
