Anyone looking for dragon parts will have to hunt down one of the four beasts that roam around the open world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Dinraal the Fire Dragon is one that offers up a heated challenge, but his route is easy to track, and I’m here to outline exactly where I found the beast in Hyrule.

Where to Find Dinraal in Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

Dinraal the Fire Dragon can be foundin thenortheast of Hyrulefollowing a route between the Akkala Highlands and the Eldin Mountains. Some easy coordinates to find the dragon are(4550, 3155, 0245). I managed to find Dinraal at that exact location, which is a hilltop in Akkala, but it’s not the only way to find the beast. The beast will start at the chasm next to the swirl on the coast.

All four of the dragons have a set path that they follow every day. That means there are multiple spots to find Dinraal the Fire Dragon depending on the time of day. The most important part of locating the dragon is being high enough on the map. you’re able to see the dragon in the sky easily from northeastern Akkala. You still need to actually reach the dragon in Tears of the Kingdom though.

Dinraal the Fire Dragon will start the day on the coast of the Akkala Highlands and then he will follow north on the coast until he reaches the Akkala Sea. From there, the dragon will follow a route west to the Eldin Mountains. I was right below Dinraal at my coordinates around 2 pm in-game time. So make sure to have the right times before searching for the fire beast in the sky. If it’s later in the day, look toward the mountains instead of Akkala and your chances of seeing the dragon will be much better.
