What’s the Current Status of The Elder Scrolls VI?

Despite the lack of updates, Bethesda continues working on the game’s development—playable builds already exist.

However, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the first gameplay trailer. In fact, Skyrim’s former lead designer believes TES VI won’t be shown until roughly six months before its official release.

The Elder Scrolls VIshares the dubious distinction of being one of the industry’s “never-arriving games,” alongsideSilksong and Beyond Good & Evil 2.

That doesn’t mean Bethesda fans will be left without a dose of epic adventure. A long-awaited return is expected to be announced this year: a remake of Oblivion.

Rumors continue to circulate about a remastered version of the fourth installment inThe Elder Scrollssaga—a perfect way to fill the gap while Todd Howard’s team completes its biggest project sinceStarfield.
