Despite a slow start, Season 3 ofThe White Lotushas finally begun delivering the bombshells in its latest episode. But, according toPatrick Schwarzenegger, who plays the family-loving douche Saxon Ratliff in the show, Episode 6 (which was released last Sunday) has nothing on the final two episodes in the coming weeks. Season 3 transported the insanely privileged vacationers to Thailand for a technology-free week of healing. In trueThe White Lotusfashion, each character is more stressed than ever after a cascading series of events involving money laundering, murdered fathers, repressed desires, and terrible best friends. Episode 6 included one of the most shocking scenes in the show so far (and that’s saying something forThe White Lotus), but, according to Schwarzenegger, it has nothing on the final two episodes.

During an appearance onThe Drew Barrymore Showto promoteThe White Lotus' impending finale, Patrick Schwarzenegger was shown a video of his mother, Maria Shriver, asking what episode he’s most nervous about his parents watching. “It was a little nerve-wracking watching the first episode with my whole family because I do take some clothes off,” the actor said. Despite the scene leading to some encouragement andunderstanding from his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger,Patrick revealed he’s most nervous for them to watch the final two episodes, and that he definitely won’t be watching it with them. “But I think some upcoming episodes I’m going to watch without them.”

Who’s the Worst Person on ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 This Week?

We have a new frontrunner after ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3, Episode 6.

Episode 6 involved a scene between Saxon and his brother, Lochlan (Sam Nivola) that would make even Freud and Oedipus feel uncomfortable. Apparently, that shocking moment, which far exceeds any of the shock value the show has reached so far, is just the tip of the iceberg. Patrick Schwarzenegger teased:

‘The White Lotus’ Season 3 Needs to Deliver Some Big Bombshells

After two remarkably successful seasons, the hype was intense for Mike White’s hit dark comedy to return this year. Season 3 features allthe trademarks ofThe White Lotus;there’s the overly-wealthy guests, underappreciated staff, themes of love, death, sex, jealousy, and some shocking nude scenes. But, many fans agree that Season 3 is definitely the weakest of the three (so far, at least).

There’s aspark missing from Season 3’s story,as many fans have complained that the new season feels incredibly slow. Especially in the latest episodes, when taking a step back from the scene-by-scene drama, not a lot has actually happened. Each character has a single goal, but it’s taking many of them too many episodes to get there. In the past seasons, Mike White kept the pacing intense by staggering each character’s story arcs, so there was a constant ebb and flow of build-up and revelation. Season 3 feels like a whole lot of build-up with very little revelation. Audiences are hoping that the “crazy” shocks promised by Patrick Schwarzenegger in the final two episodes will be enough to carry the season over the finish line in a satisfying way.
