The next season of content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone arrives on May 29. Reintroducing Stitch from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Season 4’s content focuses a lot on secret blacksites, returning Black Ops franchise weapons and game modes, and a new skyscraper in Verdansk. Sweetening the pot is a reimagining of a beloved Call of Duty: Black Ops III map, the first to make its return from the jetpack era.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Returns to Warzone’s Past to Find a Future
Raven Software, Beenox, and Activision today fully revealed what Call of Duty: Warzone players can expect from Season 3.
Multiplayer
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer gets an injection of content throughout season 4, including three Core and two Strike maps. At launch, players get the Shutdown and Fugitive Core maps alongside the Blitz Strike map. Shutdown takes players to a hydroelectric plant in Iceland and is described as a small-sized map. Fugitive, meanwhile, is a medium-sized map that takes place at a CIA black site in Iceland and features battling across the compound. Finally, Blitz narrows the battling to a highway. Mid-season, players will get the Eclipse Strike map and Fringe, a reimagined version of the beloved Black Ops III map.
In terms of game modes, there’s Team Elimination, a twist on the traditional Kill Confirmed game mode, and the return of the classic party mode, One in the Chamber. Finally, the Grim Reaper Scorestreak returns from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Season 4 does not feature a new Zombies map. Instead, Treyarch is reintroducing Grief mode, a 4v4 competitive battle across all current Zombies maps. In it, you’ll work together to secure Capture Zones and Grief your opponents. Asides from Grief mode, players can expect more Dark Ops Challenges and to face off against a new powered-up Abomination. Other than that, Season 4 doesn’t have much to offer for Zombies players.
Season 3 was massive for Warzone having brought back the beloved Verdansk map. Season 4 builds upon that with the addition of The Overlook, a massive skyscraper under construction in Downtown Verdansk. The addition of the skyscraper also brings back two traversal mechanics from Warzone 2.0; cranes and horizontal ziplines, both of which will help players scale the monstrosity.
Season 4 also brings back a handful of new game modes to Warzone. Chief among them is the 52v52 large scale Team Deathmatch game mode. These also the Havoc Royale mode that features different random modifiers applied with every new gas circle. Finally, Resurgence Casual, which features AI bots, makes an appearance mid-season.
A trove of new weapons
Season 4 introduces five new weapons that can be used across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The LC10 SMG and FFAR 1 can be unlocked via the Battle Pass by completing pages 3 and 6 respectively. The Essex Model 07 marksman rifle, Olympia shotgun, and Pickaxe melee weapon can be unlocked in-season as event rewards. There will also be new Special Weapon Attachments earnable via the Battle Pass or as event rewards.
