Persona 3’s Tartarus dungeon houses many enemies with various strengths and weaknesses, with the Grave Beetle being one you’ll first find shortly after defeating theBarbaric Beast Wheel. Let’s talk about the Grave Beetle’s weaknesses so you’re able to prepare for your next battle.
What is the Grave Beetle’s Weakness in Persona 3 Reload?
The Grave Beetle shadow isweak to wind-type skillsandresistant to electric-type skills.Attacks from abilities such asGaru, which you can use from Personas like Yukari’sIoand the protagonist’sAngel, will help you quickly knock out the Grave Beetle to focus on others in the fight.
If you have the Angel Persona from Shuffle Time, you’re able to use this to down a Grave Beetle while Yukari helps and Junpei targets other enemies. However, if you have yet to find Angel or want to focus on other shadows, Yukari can also use Garu from Io to knock it down. By doing this, you’ll gain an additional move, which you can use to target the weaknesses of other enemies and initiate an all-out attack to wrap up the battle.

However, make sure that, if you can’t attack with a wind skill and must resort to another, you do not target the Grave Beetle with an electric-type attack. While it’s not particularly strong or weak against others, it is resistant to electricity, making this an unideal choice.
If you want the protagonist to have wind attacks for future battles, try to initiate Shuffle Time to get your hands on Angel. Otherwise, Yukari will be your primary source of wind damage, while he and Junpei will have others like fire, slash, and bash, among others, depending on your levels and the Shuffle Time Personas you’ve unlocked.
