Yetugais the first boss you’ll face inThe First Beserker: Khazanand acts as your tutorial completion point within the game. The game, however, does allow you to switch your difficulty mode fromnormal to easy.As an exchange, you will be unable to claim anytrophies and achievementsby doing this.

The First Berseker: Khazan has a lot going for it, but even hardened soulslike veterans would do well not to underestimate this one.
Path to Yetuga
The path toYetugais a straight-forward shot with very few breakaway points, so there is no chance of getting lost along the way at this point. However, there are somekey enemiesyou will need to take out and study as you traverseMt. Heinmach.
The First Yeti
The firstYetiyou encounter will come down and block achest to the right pathway as you just start the game,past a few tutorialsand the secondsoldieryou fight. TheYeti’smoves are similar to what theYetugauses, so watch carefully andremember the patterns.
By watching theYetifor thejump attackand attacking itsweak points,the enemy will be defeated, and you may collect thechest rewardsresting on the cliff that it had been guarding earlier. Continue on your path up themountainonce collected.
Ax-Wielding Elite
TheEliteis found after you defeat asoldier and archeroff of the cliffside path and is located inside alarge cave outcrop opening. Unlike theYeti, theElitehas a variety of combos and attacks with hisaxwithlarge swings and stabbing motions.
Once theEliteis killed, look around thecaveforitemsand anystruggling soldiers on the ground.Using aheavy attackon them will gain you a few extraLacrimapoints with little effort.
The Bear (Optional)
As you walk down thepath,you’ll notice alow-health soldierrunning off of theleft pathway, screaming for help. Unable to actually offer aid, instead finish off thesoldierand head down the right path and into acave.Inside you’ll find aCave Bearhunched over prey. Walk up slowly behind the bear to gain adamage advantagefromsneakingas youattack first.
Once thebearis defeated, collect the items inside thecaveand proceed onward.

The Yetugais a towering beast and an upgraded version of theYeti.Luckily, as you traversed themountains,you would have been gatheringfire-based itemsthat theYetugais weak against. This boss hasno second phaseand follows similar patterns to theYetiwith a few added attacks.
Use afire enhanceras the fight starts to gainthe fire damage attributeto yourweaponstodeal extra damagetoYetugawhen you find an opening.Be patientand bait out either thecharge or leap ground poundto deal heavy attacks towardsYetugaas it will be either stunned or stuck inside the ground depending on which attack was used. UsingFire Spirits Fuelwhile its back is turned can also aid inchip damagetowards' its health, and you can freely use these up to your discretion.
Don’t get greedyand bemindful of your stamina,as running out at a crucial point may result in a’Khazan is Dead’screen and a redo. Following the above steps will ensure you defeatYetugawithout sustaining too much damage as this boss follows a set pattern and rotates evenly between its attack sets.
Even if you lose againstYetuga,yourLacrimawill reappear near the start of theboss fight,and you will earn a small amount of newLacrimato use towardsupgrades to your statsin theBattered Blade Nexus. This is aforgiving mechanicthat allows you to learn from yourprevious mistakes.
Boss Rewards
You have successfully defeated theYetuga,unlocked the achievement"Ruler of the Frozen Mountain", and can now enjoy the rest of the cutscenes. Soon you’ll continue on your quest withKhazanas your character will be rescued and put tothree different trialsbefore their fight against the next boss,The Blade Phantom.
